MOT Programme

Keeping Things in Working Order

The MOT programme which is regulated by the Vehicle Inspectorate is a road safety and environmental scheme which ensures that all vehicles over 3 years old meet a minimum road safety standard. Once a year, vehicles over 3 years old must undergo a test at an authorised MOT test station, such as a Renault dealership. This ensures that all vehicles comply with important motoring legal requirements.

We have purpose built test bays for MOT’s and all MOT testers have been on a training course with the Vehicle Inspectorate. The tester follows standard test procedures as specified by the Vehicle Inspectorate.

At most dealerships we have a viewing area for customers so that you can observe the test.

Should any item fail, you will be issued with a VT30 Certificate which states the failed testable items so that you are aware of any repair work needed to be carried out in order to pass.
